Hannes Moser

Hannes Moser is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering, teaching, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Readwise since March 2023, Hannes previously contributed to GitLab's incubation engineering group, focusing on real-time collaborative editing and distributed computing. Hannes has a strong background at Shopify, holding various roles including Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager in Search & Discovery, where responsibilities included designing scalable information retrieval systems. With a robust teaching background as an Adjunct Lecturer at Fachhochschule Salzburg and former Senior Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, Hannes has significantly impacted education in web development.
