Mark Taylor

Director of Product Strategy at Ready Computing

Mark Taylor is the Director of Product Strategy at Ready Computing. Mark has over a decade of experience in healthcare informatics and analytics, and has led numerous successful projects in this field.

Most recently, Mark was the Director of Clinical Informatics & Analysis at Healthfirst, where they led a cross-functional team to select, implement, and support the Healthfirst HIE—a private Health Information Exchange designed to share clinical and health plan information with Healthfirst’s contracted providers and hospitals. Mark also developed and implemented strategies with Medical Management and Quality Improvement teams to maximize opportunities to act on “real-time” data provided by the HIE, including using notices of Admission, Discharge, or Transfer to alert Case Managers and Quality Managers to provide early intervention and care coordination.

Under Mark’s leadership, the core HEDIS processing engine was successfully migrated from McKesson CRMS to GDIT Med Measures, and they developed downstream data feeds and tools to support quality improvement and quality incentive programs. Mark also designed and implemented Supplemental Data capture processes for the provider network to better inform quality rates and improve incentive program results. Additionally, they designed and implemented “on Demand” Internet tools to provide transparency to quality scores and member-specific gaps in care (HEDIS, Medication Adherence & HRA) for both internal and external constituencies. Finally, they integrated HEDIS gaps in care data into the care management system, provider Internet portal, and EDI eligibility responses (270/271).

Mark Taylor holds a strategic healthcare leadership degree from eCornell and a degree from Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception.

Some of their coworkers include Kate Skrocki - Director of Software Development, Jim Powers - Director of Implementation, State & Commercial, and Tyson Markley - Director of Implementation, Federal. Their manager is Michael Larocca, Founder & CEO.
