Laurence Alba

Laurence Alba has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2007, Alba served as the General Manager at Alba Motor Works & Engineering Services. From 2008 to 2011, Alba worked as a Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters, where they were responsible for quality analysis and data interpretation. In 2011, Alba joined Microbase, Inc. as an IT Business Analyst, where they provided consultant services and supported service management processes. Alba then moved on to BlastAsia, Inc. as an ICT Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master. In this role, they established strategic goals and KPIs, managed the Agile practice, conducted Scrum ceremonies, and drove continuous improvement. Alba joined Pactera in 2015 as an ICT Business Analyst and Module Lead, focusing on requirements gathering, business analysis, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. From 2017 to 2023, Alba worked at Micron Technology, first as a Scrum Master and later as a Senior Scrum Master, overseeing agile practices and leading project teams. In 2023, Alba joined ReadyMode, where they currently serve as a Technical Project Manager.

Laurence Alba attended De La Salle University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Major in Legal Management. Their field of study was Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their degree, Laurence has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In August 2014, they earned the Microsoft Certified MCSD Exam 497 Application Lifecycle Management certification from Microsoft. Two years later, in June 2017, Laurence obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. In August 2019, they received the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services. Laurence continued to enhance their skills and knowledge by obtaining the Professional Scrum Master™ II (PSM II) certification from Scrum.org in August 2021. Most recently, in July 2022, they acquired the Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
