Joona Toivanen

Joona Toivanen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and software development. Currently serving as a Product Manager at ReadyTech since May 2022, Joona is responsible for driving product development and execution of the product roadmap through collaboration with stakeholders. As a Co-Owner and Director at Little Kiwi Linguist since April 2019, Joona manages business operations, focusing on growth, profitability, bookkeeping, and quality control. Previous roles include Product Owner at Verizon Connect, where Joona facilitated the translation of vision into user stories and requirements, and QA Engineer, along with Software Verification Engineer, at Dynamic Controls, enhancing software quality through testing. Joona has also held a Software Summer Trainee position at Microsoft and started a career as a cashier at Neste Oil. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Otago and multiple degrees in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, complemented by a diploma in Small Business and Project Management from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
