Branden Siegle

Branden Siegle has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Senior Software Engineer at ReadyWhen since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC from 2018 to 2022. At HSBC, they served as a Senior Cloud Engineer, where they were responsible for leading and architecting a data warehouse project and providing consultation on various cloud platforms. Branden also worked as a Cloud Full Stack Developer, contributing to the development of HSBC Wealth Compass and handling frontend React.js development, Mulesoft and Springboot Java backend development, Jenkins CICD setup, and AWS deployment. Additionally, Branden worked as an Intern, Full Stack Developer at HSBC, where they built and deployed a voice assistant project using Google App Engine and Google Datastore.

Before their tenure at HSBC, Branden worked at The University of British Columbia as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and later as a Resident Advisor, where they supported student housing and hospitality services, conducted programs, and enhanced residential communities. Branden also had international experience as a TaLK Scholar at the National Institute for International Education, where they worked as a foreign language instructor in South Korea, designing and implementing the curriculum for students ranging from preschool to grade 4.

Branden Siegle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, which they attended from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition to their formal education, Branden has obtained multiple certifications in various cloud computing platforms and technologies. Branden has certifications from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), The Linux Foundation, HashiCorp, and Google. These certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
