James Moore

Field Applications Engineer at Real Intent

James Moore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. James began their career in 2001 as a Co-op Engineer at AMD, where they assisted with hardware tool designs and worked on projects such as designing an AGP 3.0 stimulator. In 2002, they continued as a Co-op Engineer at AMD, where they contributed to the design of a PCI-X 2.0 stimulator.

In 2003, James joined AMD as a Systems Design Engineer 1, where they performed various phases of hardware tool designs and learned processes. Notably, they designed a modular parallel scan tool that allowed faster pattern development and reduced non-production use of ATEs. In 2004, they were promoted to Systems Design Engineer 2, where they continued to perform all phases of hardware tool design and designed a standalone fuse reader for CPUs, simplifying tracking processors in labs.

From 2007 to 2011, James worked at AMD as a Senior Systems Design Engineer. In this role, they performed all phases of hardware tool design, created reusable IP and communication interfaces, and influenced debug circuitry for platforms. During this time, they also contributed to platform documentation.

In 2012, James joined Real Intent as a Field Applications Engineer, where they currently work.

James Moore attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
