John Patchin is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in embedded software and robotics. Currently serving as a Principal Application Engineer at RTI since May 2016, John has previously held significant roles including Technical Account Manager and Systems Engineering Manager at Lynx Software Technologies from January 2008 to February 2016. John's early career includes positions as a Customer Applications Engineer at KUKA Robotics Corporation, where responsibilities spanned sales, marketing, and technical support, as well as software development roles at Hewlett-Packard Corporation and Trellis Software & Controls. John holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Kansas, completed in 1995 and 1993, respectively.
