John O'Connor is a fintech and blockchain executive who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of RealFi, as a director at Lighthouse Collective Capital, and as a board member of Power Learn Project. They previously led African operations at IOHK from 2018 to 2023 and held strategic roles at the Cardano Foundation. Their earlier roles included positions at Echelon Research, Neptune Investment Management, Maris Venture Capital, and Rocketer. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford (2010–2013).
