Subbu Muthu

Subbu Muthu has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, product management, and engineering leadership. From 2018 to present, they have been working as the SVP of Engineering and Product Management at Realization Technologies, Inc. In this role, they have worked on deploying a highly scalable and secure platform for the US Navy, designed frameworks/solutions for Realization's clients, and led the team in the development of a SaaS based Concerto architecture and framework.

Prior to this role, Subbu worked at Realization Technologies, Inc. from 2001 to 2018 in various roles, including Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Senior Manager, Software Engineering Manager, Lead Technical Architect, and Senior Technical Lead. During this time, they managed the overall expectations for product delivery, developed standard APIs for partners, received the Franz Edelman Award for Excellence and Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences, led the development of a new flexible analytics dashboard, and built an offshore team in India.

From 1999 to 2001, Subbu worked as an Engineering Project Lead at Lionbridge Technologies, where they managed a team of 10 people to implement multiple products for mobile and enterprise solutions. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Intelliseek, where they architected and implemented components of Lycos Search, Tracking and Reporting. Finally, from 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Agiltech, where they developed pattern matching algorithms, machine learning, and a feature identification and costing system for manufacturing.

Subbu Muthu's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Anna University, Guindy College of Engineering from 1993 to 1997, a Master of Science in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati from 1997 to 1999, an Honors Diploma in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2004 to 2005, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2007 to 2010. Subbu also holds a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA obtained in August 2021, and a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute obtained in April 2005.
