Sherry Sun

Sherry Sun, CPA, CIA, has over a decade of experience in various financial leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Director of Revenue Recognition Accounting at RealPage, Inc. since April 2019, Sherry previously held positions including Senior Manager of Merchandise Accounting at 7-Eleven and Revenue Cycle Manager at Softcard. Sherry's career also includes significant roles at Trend Micro and Nortel Networks, where responsibilities included managing the Regional SOX Lead for Asia and acting as NNCE Chief Financial Officer. In these roles, Sherry provided strategic financial guidance, ensured compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, and facilitated collaboration among business partners, particularly in challenging scenarios such as Nortel's bankruptcy. Sherry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.
