Ty Tremblay is a software engineer at Realtime Robotics. Ty has also worked as a senior controls engineer at Symbotic, a teaching assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a mechanical engineer at Hologic and iRobot.
Tremblay began their career as a mechanical engineering intern at iRobot in 2009. Ty worked on the development of the SUGV, a small unmanned ground vehicle, during their internship. In 2010, they returned to iRobot as a mechanical engineering intern and worked on upcoming products for the Diagnostic Division of Hologic, Inc. Tremblay's interdisciplinary skills reduced development time for these products.
In 2011, Tremblay began working as a mechanical engineer at Hologic. Ty worked on the development of diagnostic products for the company. In 2012, they left Hologic to become a teaching assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Ty taught classes and developed full stack applications for internal use. In 2013, they joined Symbotic as a senior controls engineer. At Symbotic, they built libraries and tools consumed by other software engineering teams to improve efficiency and reduce development cycle times.
Ty Tremblay has a Masters in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
They work with Stefie Tellex - Senior Advisor, Perception, Kurt Dudek - Product Manager, and Wolfgang Klauer - SQA Technician. Their manager is Dan Sorin, Founder & Chief Architect.
