20 years in South African real estate — commercial, residential, and industrial — and for most of that time, I watched agencies around me drown in the same problem: compliance.
FICA files in cardboard boxes. Agents who weren't sure what POPIA actually required. Principals lying awake before a PPRA inspection, hoping nothing would fall through the cracks.
I lived it too. And then I decided to solve it.
In 2024 I founded Realty Genie — a compliance automation system built specifically for South African estate agencies. We digitise and structure the entire compliance process, from client onboarding to audit-ready file generation, so agency principals can focus on running their business instead of chasing documents.
