Ola W.

Ola W. has a long and impressive career in the technology industry. Ola began their career in 1998 as a Telecommunications Engineer at Ericsson. In 1999, they moved to Viscount Communications and Control Systems Inc., where they held the role of R&D Hardware and Embedded Software Engineering. Ola was responsible for PCB design and layouts for serial communication devices and PCI cards, as well as building and testing prototype systems, hardware debugging, design verification and full production releases. In 2005, they took on the role of Research and Development Lead at Viscount Systems Inc., where they developed the first fully IP-based physical access control system and a suite of software solutions around the core security product. In 2013, they became Co-founder and VP of Engineering at Human API. In 2017, they held the role of Technical Advisor at Frontm Limited, and in 2018 they took on the role of Co-founder and CTO at OWNY, as well as Director of Security at doc.ai.

Ola W. attended the Y Combinator in 2018, the British Columbia Institute of Technology where they received a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Systems, and Stockholm University where they studied Theirtory of Ideas - Department of Culture and Aesthetics.
