Anneka Johnston has been working in the professional world since 2011. Anneka began their career as an Office Assistant at Photo Safari Hawaii, where they organized the office, filed papers, and input client data into Microsoft Excel. Anneka also assisted in developing and organizing the new business under Photo Safari called Extraordinary Adventures, creating over 10 Extraordinary Adventure books for clients with the program iPhoto Books. In 2013, they moved on to work as an Administrative Assistant at Anita Dekker MD Pain Specialist, where they organized and filed patient charts while developing new ways of organization within the office, and used Microsoft Excel to complete Dr. Dekker's medical conferences. In 2015, they became a Lead Host at Sabai Cafe & Bar, where they resolved challenges while providing high-level customer service, utilized strong communication skills with staff and customers, and planned the restaurant seating chart for reservations and walk-in customers. In 2017, Anneka began working at three different companies: BRIDGE Housing Corporation as an Occupancy Specialist, City of Eugene as a Transportation Options Intern, and Symphony Asset Management as an Administrative Assistant. At BRIDGE Housing Corporation, they reviewed income certification files of assigned properties, updated tracking systems with the current certification/property information, and prepared and responded to file audits. At City of Eugene, they researched and implemented path safety campaigns and presented research in Active Transportation Committee meetings, compiled data in Excel and used Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to create first Annual Report, and assisted with strategic planning for City of Eugene events. At Symphony Asset Management, they welcomed all guests and clients and routed incoming calls, coordinated schedules for multiple conference rooms and facilitated catering, and completed administrative projects and assisted with planning of special Symphony events. In 2019, Anneka began working at Compass as a Customer Success Manager and Customer Success Coordinator. In 2021, they moved on to work as a Customer Success Manager at ChurnZero, and in 2022, they began working at Realync as an Implementation Program Manager and Client Success Manager.

Anneka Johnston attended the University of Oregon from 2012 to 2017, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in General Social Science: Globalization, Environment, and Policy and Nonprofit Administration. Prior to this, they attended Seabury Hall from 2009 to 2012.
