Yara Akel

Yara Akel has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Yara has worked as a Finance Manager at Realytics since May 2019, where they handle tasks such as liaising with the accounting firm and managing sales administration.

Prior to that, Yara completed an administrative and financial internship at Ritz Paris from July 2018 to January 2019. Their responsibilities included budget analysis, supporting the CFO in report preparation, and creating dashboards.

Yara also has experience in the retail sector, having worked as a Sales Associate at ELIE SAAB from February 2017 to August 2017. Here, they focused on achieving sales targets and providing product expertise to customers. Yara also held similar sales roles at Gucci from June 2015 to January 2017 and Maison Margiela from May 2014 to April 2015.

In addition, Yara gained valuable experience in credit and risk management as an intern at GroupMed (Holding) S.A.L. for two months in 2012. Yara also completed a finance and accounting internship at Mercedes-Benz for two months in 2011. Here, they were involved in tasks such as payment balance verification, operating result analysis, studying loan rates, and negotiating purchase prices with suppliers.

Yara Akel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in the period of 2010-2013. Yara then pursued a Master's degree in Fashion, design and luxury management at Grenoble Ecole de Management from 2013 to 2015. In 2018, Yara acquired a Master's degree in Ingénierie Financière et Finance d’Entreprise from OMNES Education. Additionally, in July 2018, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concept Certificate from Bloomberg Market Concept institution.
