Mark Jackson

Vice President/Executive Director at REAP, Inc.

Mark Jackson has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple organizations. Mark started their career in 2001 as the Vice President/Executive Director at REAP Inc., a youth empowerment organization. In this role, Mark was involved in igniting, elevating, and engaging the next wave of leaders. Mark also served on the Advisory Board for Multnomah County Library starting from 2011. Around the same time, they became a Site Council Member at Lincoln High School, where they provided advising to implement school improvement plan strategies. Mark also served on the Steering Committee for All Hands Raised - Cradle To Career, starting from 2011.

Prior to this, in 2009, Mark became a Committee Member for the East Portland Action Plan, where they worked with business and civic leaders to support the economic growth of East Portland. Mark also served as a Committee Member on the Mayor's Education Strategy Team, starting from 2009 until 2011. Furthermore, they were a Student Participation & Completion Committee Member on the Oregon State Board of Higher Education from 2007 to 2010.

Mark Jackson attended Portland State University from 1990 to 1994 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
