Daniel Pascual

Daniel Pascual has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel began their career in 2008 as an Intern Technician at Matrix Computer, followed by a short stint as a Computer Technician at Spectrum Ltd. In 2009, they worked as a Formative Trainer at Ayuntamiento de Castellar.

In 2010, Daniel worked as a Computer Technician at Infotecnic before joining the University of Granada in 2015 as a Guest Researcher. During their time at the university, they developed a project titled "A Multisensor Based Approach Using Supervised Learning and Particle Filtering for People Detection and Tracking." This research was later published in the "Robot 2015: Second Iberian Robotics Conference" publication.

Daniel then joined Star Solution Systems in 2015 as a Full-Stack Developer. In this role, they provided technical support and development for the gambling brand World Star Betting. Daniel was responsible for creating and maintaining both backend and frontend code using various technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Java, Node.js, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

In 2018, Daniel took on the role of a Full-Stack Engineer at Dether.io, where they worked on the development of an app for Ethereum retail trade. Daniel also created a microservices ecosystem for the application's management and operation.

Currently, Daniel is employed at Volume Network - Digital Signage since 2018. Daniel initially started as a Full Stack Engineer, where they developed a CMS software for managing content on 4K devices and a media player for Samsung TVs using the Tizen framework. Daniel also automated application deployment using Kubernetes. Daniel has now been promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer, where they manage the programming team and defines and designs the technical requirements for the company's products.

Daniel Pascual has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Granada, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Ciclo Formativo Superior in Administration of Computer Systems at IFPS Puenteuropa from 2006 to 2008. Daniel also has several certifications including First Certificate in English (FCE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in July 2015, CCNA II from Cisco in June 2008, CCNA I from Cisco in June 2007, and Preliminary English Test (PET) from Cambridge English Language Assessment in June 2004.
