Niklas Backlund

Niklas Backlund has a strong background in software development, with extensive experience in various roles at Ericsson. Niklas started their career at Ericsson in 1996 as a Support Engineer, where they provided support for an RLL system and was involved in commissioning a large-scale O&M system in Sri Lanka. In 2000, they transitioned to the role of System Manager and later became a System Integrator in 2001. From 2002 to 2016, Niklas worked as a Software Designer at Ericsson, where they designed and programmed O&M server components and developed a framework to support upgrade components. Niklas even filed a patent for an algorithm to calculate upgrade paths. In 2016, Niklas founded their own company, Robotic Bean AB, where they took on the role of Founder and Developer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Reason Studios as a Senior Software Developer. Additionally, Niklas has experience as a Guitarronista at Mariachi Fiesta México in 2002.

Niklas Backlund attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2004, majoring in Computer Science. Niklas did not obtain a degree during this time.
