Mark Bode

Mark Bode has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. Mark is currently the Director and founder of Rebel Flora & Fauna, where they focus on making drastic changes to connect ecology and the economy for a sustainable planet. Prior to that, they co-founded Tree Collective in 2021, working on incorporating more greenery in cities using technology and new business models. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Business Partner at Livework Studio, focusing on strategic innovation and business design projects. Before that, they founded Business Design Agency in 2012, working on urban innovation and the integration of creativity and business. Mark Bode has also founded Creative Business Map, Studio Wolfpack, basematters, and Beards & Suits, all focused on entrepreneurship, design, and business development. Mark has also worked as a Managing Partner at Shop Around, responsible for the business side of the company and involved in concept development and art direction. Mark's expertise lies in the intersection of creativity and business.

Mark Bode pursued their education from 1989 to 1993 at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in International Marketing Management. Following this, from 1993 to 1996, they attended the University of Amsterdam, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Economics with a specialization in Strategic Management & Organization.
