David G. Hunter

David G. Hunter serves as the Scientific Advisor at JelliSee, Inc. since March 2024, and has been the Founder of Rebion since June 2010. Hunter holds the position of Ophthalmologist-in-Chief at Boston Children's Hospital and serves as Professor and Vice Chair of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, both since February 2002. Additionally, Hunter was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of AAPOS from March 2006 to July 2012 and held the role of Past Vice-President of the Association For Research in Vision & Ophthalmology (ARVO) from March 2010 to March 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University and completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Training included an Ophthalmology Residency at Mass. Eye and Ear. Educational credentials include an MD and PhD in Cell Biology from Baylor College of Medicine, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
