Product Owner at Rebuy Engine

Ryan Hoke has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan started their career as a Technical Support Lead at ESPN/SportsTicker in 2000. After that, they worked at Ajilon Consulting as a Technical Support Specialist and Staff Manager for five years. From 2006 to 2007, Ryan worked at Immediate Mailing Services, Inc. as part of their Technical Services team.

In 2007, Ryan joined ShoreGroup, where they held multiple roles over the course of eight years. Ryan started as a CaseSentry Application Engineer, responsible for configuring, maintaining, and customizing network monitoring solutions. Ryan later transitioned to Appliance Engineering, where they worked as a Systems Analyst Lead, ensuring the smooth communication between Network Support and development teams. Eventually, Ryan became the Manager of Triage, where they supervised the workload of the Triage team and served as an escalation point for the Service Delivery organization. Ryan also worked as a Product Owner for CaseSentry Network Monitoring Software, responsible for grooming and prioritizing software defect cases.

In 2016, Ryan joined Optanix as a Product Owner and later became a Product Manager. In these roles, they were in charge of creating the product vision and prioritizing the backlog of software defect cases. Ryan maintained strong working relationships with various departments and collaborated closely with development teams to ensure the product vision was communicated effectively.

From 2018 to 2019, Ryan worked at TCGplayer.com as a Product Manager, leading software teams in creating solutions for hobby shops and managing the selection of Tax Service for sales tax.

Following their time at TCGplayer.com, Ryan joined BeerBoard in 2019 as a Product Delivery Manager. Ryan brought Agile methodologies to the company, prioritized the roadmap, and collaborated with the development team to build features.

Most recently, Ryan has been working at Hip eCommerce since 2021 as a Senior Product Manager. In this role, they manage three marketplaces for collectors and collaborates with design and engineering teams to solve business and customer problems.

Additionally, Ryan is set to join Rebuy Engine in 2023 as a Product Owner.

Ryan Hoke attended SUNY Geneseo from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Ryan also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same institution during the same time period. Ryan Hoke has additional certifications, including a Product-led Certification from Pendo.io that they obtained in May 2023, a PMC-III certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI) obtained in January 2017, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance obtained in June 2013.
