John Bevis

John Bevis is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Design Director and Designer at Rec Room since March 2016, John previously held roles at Microsoft Studios as a Game Designer and at Microsoft Game Studios as Product Designer II. John began the career at Microsoft as a Layout Designer shortly after serving as an Electrical Designer at PowerTek Electric. Academic credentials include a Master of Interactive Technology in Level Design from The Guildhall at SMU and a BA in Environmental Policy from Western Washington University, accompanied by additional studies at Huxley College of the Environment.
