Deniz Basoglu

Deniz Basoglu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career in 2012 as an Interior Designer at Krea Interiors and later worked as an Interior Designer at TONER. In 2014, they transitioned to becoming an Architectural Lighting Designer at ZKLD LIGHT DESIGN STUDIO, followed by roles at Licht Kunst Licht AG and ELEMENT LICHT DESIGN as an Architectural Lighting Designer. In 2016, they briefly returned to being an Architectural Lighting Designer at Licht Kunst Licht AG. From 2019 to 2020, Deniz worked as a User Experience Designer at fliit, where they were responsible for UI and UX design. They then joined Durstexpress GmbH as a User Experience Designer from 2020 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023, Deniz worked at Gorillas as a Senior and then Lead Product Designer. Their most recent role is as a Lead Product Designer at Recare since 2023.

Deniz Basoglu completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design at Sabanci University from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they also obtained a Diploma in Interior Design from the KLC School of Design. Deniz went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Architectural Lighting Design & Design Management at Hochschule Wismar from 2014 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Deniz completed the Certified UX & Usability Professional program at XDi - Experience Design Institut GmbH in December 2020. They also obtained the Google Analytics for Beginners certification from Google in February 2020. Deniz has participated in the UX & Web Design Master Course: Strategy, Design, Development and User Experience Design Fundamentals through Udemy, although the specific completion dates for these courses are not provided.
