Amanda Appleton

Amanda Appleton possesses extensive experience in marketing communications and content management, beginning with roles as a communications intern and freelancer at OhioHealth in 1997. This experience was followed by significant positions at various companies, including a marketing consultant role at Virtualintern.com and multiple marketing communications roles at HighJump Software. Notably, Amanda served as the Marketing Communications Manager and later as Director of Content Marketing at Spok from 2009 to 2012. Continuing to advance in the field, Amanda became the Director of Marketing at Körber Supply Chain and later the Owner, Writer, and Content Strategist at Comma Bistro LLC. Currently, Amanda holds the position of Sr. Web Content Manager at Recast since October 2025. Educationally, Amanda earned an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and a BA from The Ohio State University.
