Bryan Grimes

Bryan Grimes has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bryan'smost recent position is as a Principal Engineer/Architect at Recharge starting from December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Owner/Pitmaster at Bearded Giant BBQ since July 2019.

From July 2019 to December 2021, Bryan served as the Director of Engineering - Retail Platforms at Gopuff. Bryan played a vital role in creating immersive web applications and APIs, leading new architecture, and integrating DevOps into NRG's SDLC.

From August 2011 to July 2012, Bryan worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead at Energy Plus Company. Bryan was responsible for designing and implementing solutions to support the business goals. Bryan also played a role in connecting disparate business units and systems through RESTful APIs.

Bryan's career started at Corporate Synergies in April 2007, where they served as an Engineering Technical Lead. Bryan managed the development team, led custom software architecture and design, and introduced TDD and Scrum. Before that, they briefly worked as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on API design and implementation.

Bryan also holds a certification in ITIL Version 3 Foundation from EXIN.
