Meiling Yang

Meiling Yang is the VP, Data & Product Operations at ReCharge. Meiling has previously worked as the VP, Data Product and Engineering at Upwork and as the Director, Product Management, Cloud Services at PayPal. Meiling has been responsible for data scientists’ and analysts’ data usage experience with optimal time-to-business-insight by maintaining and evolving Upwork’s data platform and data driven culture. Meiling has also transformed Upwork’s data management and platform capabilities for IPO readiness including SOC certification, DGPR as well as SOX compliances. In their previous role at PayPal, Meiling was responsible for leading a 6+ person Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IaaS) product management team and driving customers engagement, developing product strategy, maintaining product roadmap, and managing agile / Scrum based product release life cycle activities. Meiling has a proven track record in improving infrastructure operation efficiency and experience with automation - asset on boarding, reclamation, and remediation. Meiling also led the effort to convergence of 8+ clouds across three IaaS technologies into one OpenStack cloud - the 2nd largest OpenStack implementation in the world.

Meiling Yang has a Master of Computer Science from Cleveland State University.
