Dr. Patrick Stortz

Dr. Patrick Stortz is an experienced professional in the field of quality control and production management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Director/Head of Quality Control at Celonic Group since July 2024, Dr. Stortz has held significant roles at Recipharm as Leiter Qualitätskontrolle since February 2020, and previously at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Leiter der Qualitätskontrolle from 2013 to 2020. Additional experience includes a managerial position in production documentation and validation at UCB from 2010 to 2013, and leadership in manufacturing documentation at Schwarz Pharma from 2005 to 2010, focusing on compliance, qualification, and cleaning validation. Dr. Stortz obtained a Promotion degree in Organic Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University (2001 - 2005) and attended Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1996 to 2001.
