Shounak Shastri, PhD, has extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Serving as a Teaching cum Research Assistant at Vellore Institute of Technology from January 2016 to January 2020, Shounak conducted research in Steganography algorithms, resulting in the publication of seven international papers and the design and evaluation of algorithms for secure image and data transmission. Currently a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Analyst in AI & Data Science at Recode Solutions since May 2021, Shounak leverages expertise gained during a Master's degree and PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, both obtained from Vellore Institute of Technology.
