Lukas W.

Lukas W. began their career in 2014 as a Working Student and Intern at Infineon Technologies. In 2015, they interned at TUMCREATE, working on the research project \"Energy Storage Engineering\" by focusing on \"Developing Software for a Battery Management System and Fast Charging of a High Voltage Battery Pack\". In 2016, they worked as a Working Student for iOs development at TeleClinic, responsible for the caching and offline mode of the app. In 2018, they completed their Deep Metric Learning for Indoor Visual Positioning thesis at NavVis, where they used deep metric learning to improve an image retrieval CNN used for indoor positioning. Since 2019, they have been an AI Software Engineer at Recogni, working at the core-tech team that efficiently converts fp32 models to their custom Recogni accelerator.

Lukas W. attended Robert Bosch Gymnasium from 2000 to 2012, where they obtained their Abitur. Lukas then attended the Technical University of Munich from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. In 2017, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Lukas returned to the Technical University of Munich and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in 2019.
