Matt Tector

Matt Tector is the current Chief Scientific Officer for Makana at Recombinetics. Matt has previous experience as a Research Assistant Professor and Junior Scientist, both at the University of Minnesota. Matt's work has focused on the development of tools and strategies for livestock genome engineering.

Matt Tector earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Sciences/Biotechnology from the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Minnesota.

Matt Tector works with David Aberle - CFO & VP, Finance, Dan Carlson - SVP, Research & Development, and John Burtis - VP, Legal. Matt Tector reports to Rocco Morelli, CEO.
