Hannah Braley

Hannah (they/she) assists the Services Team in providing at-need death care and client services at Recompose and facilitating soil pick up/delivery. They are passionate about accessibility within the death care community, and are committed to expanding the understanding of a “good death”, as well as fostering universal access to the funeral care that comes next.

Before relocating to Washington, Hannah worked in a variety of death care roles – spanning hospice, grief & bereavement services, and green funerals. Throughout those experiences, Hannah realized that their passion lies in the connection between these alternative death care practices and the rituals that breathe life back into them. Hannah is committed to building those connections over time so that they can create holistic death experiences that feed both the body and the planet while actively dismantling the oppressive American death industry.
