Karyn Barsa

Karyn Barsa is an accomplished, four-time CEO with a strong background in scaling purpose-driven consumer brands and enhancing enterprise value across various sectors, including retail and wellness. Their leadership experience includes notable positions at Patagonia, Smith & Hawken, and Coyuchi, where they implemented strategies that significantly improved profitability and operational efficiency. Karyn has also served as a board member for multiple organizations, contributing to substantial revenue growth and championing inclusive hiring practices. Currently, they are pursuing their next full-time CEO opportunity in the U.S., while continuing to serve on the board of Recompose. Karyn holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a BA in Economics from Connecticut College, and has studied Urban Design at Harvard University.
