Edwin Chan

Global Director IT Operations at Reconext

Edwin Chan has extensive work experience in IT operations and management. Edwin started their career at Dell in 1995 as an IT Support and Operations Analyst and worked their way up to become a Senior System Analyst. At Dell, they led various projects and provided support for manufacturing applications. In 2004, they became an IT Manager, managing the MFG I/T Demand Planning team and overseeing outsourcing management for the MFG I/T department. In 2006, they started a new team handling global monitoring solutions development and proactive management services. From 2008 to 2015, Edwin served as a Senior IT Manager at Dell, driving operational excellence and project delivery for global shared services. In 2015, they joined Teleplan International as the Regional IT Director for the APAC region and later became the Global Director of IT Operations. In 2020, Edwin joined Reconext as the Global Director of IT Operations. Throughout their career, Edwin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, cross-functional team management, and strategic planning expertise.

Edwin Chan obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Sunderland from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Computing at the Informatics Institute from 1993 to 1996.
