Dr. Ed Wu is a Co-Founder and the Chief Medical Officer of Recora Health. Dr. Wu has over a decade of experience as a physician and healthcare executive. Ed has a passion for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes, particularly for those with chronic disease.

After completing their medical training at NYU Langone Health and Northwell Health, Dr. Wu began their career as a quality and health informatics physician at Maimonides Medical Center. Ed then transitioned into healthcare administration, serving as Vice President of Clinical Solutions at IKS Health and Vice President at Dearborn Advisors. Most recently, they served as Chief Medical Officer at The New Jewish Home, where they led all clinical operations, quality improvement, research, and client experience initiatives across the organization’s portfolio of businesses.

Under Dr. Wu’s leadership, Recora Health is on a mission to redefine the future of heart health. The company provides a home-based program for cardiac recovery to individuals who have had a recent hospitalization or medical event. Recora works with health plans, medical groups, and health systems to address the needs of its clients with its innovative program.

Ed Wu completed their undergraduate studies at Northwestern University in 1997. Ed then went on to complete their MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. After that, they completed their M.S. at New York University School of Medicine.
