Björn Pedersen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Björn started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Mynthuset Sverige in 2008 and later worked in a similar role at Mønthuset Danmark in 2010. In 2014, they joined Kommunal Akassa and Kommunals Akassa as a Customer Service Representative.
In 2014, Björn also took on a role as a Teaching Assistant at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, LTH. Björn continued in this role until 2018 while simultaneously working on their Master's thesis at Volvo Cars. As a Master Thesis Student, they developed and analyzed different robust measures of the NVH performance of a vehicle body.
From 2018 to 2021, Björn worked at AFRY, initially as a Software Developer and later as a Team Lead/Supplier Project Manager. In these roles, they developed software used in data validation of large geospatial datasets and led a team of more than 20 members.
In 2021, they took on the responsibility of Developer/Delivery Manager at AFRY. In this role, they oversaw the delivery of the Managed Service offering for all developer teams and mentored Supplier Project Managers. During their tenure, the Managed Service offering grew from one team to six teams with a total of around 35 developers.
Most recently, Björn joined Recorded Future in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer.
Björn Pedersen pursued their education at various institutions over the years. Björn began their educational journey at Malmö Borgarskola from 2007 to 2010, where they focused on natural sciences. Later, from 2013 to 2018, they enrolled at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, working towards a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, in 2016, Björn Pedersen had the opportunity to attend the University of Michigan College of Engineering, where they studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. No specific degree names were provided for any of these educational experiences.
