Dan Elliott

Dan Elliott serves as the Field CISO for Asia Pacific & Japan at Recorded Future since September 2025. Previously, Dan held the position of Head of Cyber Resilience for ANZ at Zurich Insurance and functioned as a Global Representative and Distinguished Member at Cybersecurity Advisors Network from February 2023 to February 2025. Dan's experience also includes advisory roles, such as being an Advisory Council Member at SecureWorld in 2024, and serving as Principal of Cyber Security Risk Advisory at Zurich Canada. Dan's earlier career includes significant roles at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, including Intelligence Officer and Senior Operations Risk Manager, alongside contributions as a Regional Intelligence Officer with the Canada Border Services Agency. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Ottawa, among other specialized certifications in cyber leadership and risk management.
