Greg Nass

Greg Nass has an extensive work experience in various roles within the cybersecurity and IT fields. Greg started their career at creehan & company as a Network Administrator, where they were later promoted to manage the IT department. Greg then moved on to Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) as a Systems Administrator. Greg later joined Xerox ACS as a LAN Support Specialist, providing server and system support in an executive environment. Greg then joined Lockheed Martin as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they played a leadership role in network support and security within a military campus setting. Greg then transitioned to the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP), starting as an Information Systems Security Officer and eventually becoming an Information System Security Manager, responsible for managing complex IT systems and leading a team of ISSOs. Greg later joined Proofpoint as a Sales Engineer, specializing in integration support for the acquisition of Wombat. Currently, Greg works at Recorded Future, where they have held various roles including Senior Threat Intelligence Consultant, Team Lead, and currently as the Manager of Intelligence Services. In their current role, Greg partners with enterprise organizations to integrate and leverage contextualized threat intelligence for cybersecurity strategies.

Greg Nass has pursued their education in various fields throughout their career. Greg began their educational journey by earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Information Management from the School of Computer Technology in the years 1997-1999.

Later, Greg pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems & Professional Communications from Robert Morris University from 2006 to 2008.

In the years 2010-2013, Greg attended SouthEastern University, where they focused on Ministry studies. However, it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Greg achieved a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security and Assurance with a specialization in Cyber Security from Western Governors University from 2014 to 2016.

Additionally, Greg has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. These include the Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 2 from SuccessHACKER, obtained in November 2021, the Recorded Future Certified Analyst (RFCA) from Recorded Future, obtained in September 2018, the Computer Hacking and Forensics Investigator (CHFI) and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH V8) from EC-Council, obtained in February 2016 and August 2015 respectively.

Furthermore, Greg has certification in ITIL - Foundations, obtained in June 2014, and certifications in Net+ and Security+ from CompTIA, obtained in January 2014 and September 2009 respectively.
