James Kennedy

James Kennedy has a strong background in the field of cybersecurity. James currently works as a Threat Intelligence Response Analyst at Recorded Future, where they respond to alerts on the Recorded Future platform, triages alerts, and provides a white-glove service to customers. James also serves as an escalation point for Tier 1 analysts and helps optimize workflows. Before joining Recorded Future, James worked as a Security Analyst at Mosaic451, where they analyzed and responded to alerts from customer environments, optimized workflows, and introduced time-saving tools. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Technology Technician at Steward Health Care.

James Kennedy completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University - Idaho. James attended the university from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including Swimlane Certified SOAR User from Swimlane in July 2022, Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) from Security Blue Team in November 2021, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in May 2020, White Badge from PentesterLab in November 2018, and Introduction Badge from PentesterLab in February 2018.
