Josh Dewald

Josh DeWald is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in backend architecture and reliability engineering. Currently serving as Principal Architect - Backend at Recorded Future since January 2024, Josh leads the development of an internet scanning system and has implemented various enhancements including eBPF applications and Kubernetes operators. Prior roles include Principal Reliability Scientist at StackPath, where Josh focused on delivering operational tools and guidance, and positions at MaxCDN and Talus Labs, contributing to software engineering and system architecture. Josh began a career in software development at Infospace and has accumulated a diverse skill set across multiple companies since earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003.
