Simon Collyer

Simon Collyer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Simon started their career in 1998 as a Corporate Help Desk at connect.com.au. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Systems Administrator at AAPT, where they were responsible for maintaining over 250 servers and fixing escalated faults. At Sun Microsystems, they took on the role of Team Leader at the Solutions Centre from 2007 to 2010. In this role, they provided level 3 support, led a team of 16 people, and offered mentoring and training. Simon then joined Sourcefire as a Systems Engineer from 2011 to 2012 and EFTel as a Senior Systems Engineer from 2012 to 2013.
