Tommy Grip has a diverse range of work experience. Tommy currently works at Recorded Future as a Threat Intelligence professional, where they utilize real-time visibility and proactive action to protect people, systems, and infrastructure. Prior to that, Tommy worked at Innovation Academy Charter School as a Math Teacher and HS Math Curriculum Coordinator, where they facilitated course placements, conducted weekly math meetings, and collaborated with other math teachers. Tommy also gained teaching experience as a Student Teacher and Mathematics Intern at Edward M. Kennedy Academy and Boston Public Schools, where they formulated lesson plans, attended faculty meetings, and provided support to students in various after-school activities. Additionally, Tommy's previous role as a Golf Shop Manager at Butter Brook Golf Club allowed him to develop skills in managerial responsibilities and working effectively under pressure.
Tommy Grip obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Northeastern University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Westford Academy from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Tommy received certifications in "Introduction to Programming Using Python" from edX in February 2020 and an "SEI Endorsement" from the Department of Education in October 2014.
