Tomoyuki Matsuda has a vast work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tomoyuki started their career at Softbank Inc. in 1994, where they worked in sales until 1998. Tomoyuki then joined Trend Micro as a Software Engineer and remained there for ten years. In 2009, they joined Netstar, Inc. as a QA Group Lead before transitioning to the role of Senior Engineer, where they specialized in pre-sales and technical marketing for MDM (NetSTAR Business Smart Security). During their time at Netstar, Inc., they also served as a member of the Guideline Workgroup for the Council of Anti-Phishing Japan. In 2013, Matsuda moved to Symantec where they held various roles, including Principal BCAM/CSM/Consultant, where they focused on customer success and cyber security advisory. In 2019, they joined Broadcom Inc. as a Lead Principal and later moved to Recorded Future in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Senior Pre-sales Engineer.
Tomoyuki Matsuda completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Ritsumeikan University from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications over the years. In 2012, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)². In 2016, they obtained the CISA certification from ISACA and the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA. In 2019, they obtained the GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) certification from GIAC Certifications. The most recent certification they obtained was the GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI) certification from GIAC Certifications in May 2023.
