Michael Klocke is an experienced journalist and community relations professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Community Relations Director at the University of the Pacific since May 2017, Klocke also holds the position of Editor at San Joaquin Media Group, overseeing The Record, Stockton's daily newspaper, since 2004. Previous roles include Managing Editor at The Record, Executive Sports Editor at the Fort Myers News-Press, and Sports Editor at various publications including The Stockton Record, Richmond Palladium-Item, Marion Chronicle-Tribune, and Monticello Herald-Journal. Michael Klocke earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University, attending from 1974 to 1978, and graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School during the years 1972 to 1974.
