Robert Hughes

Robert Hughes serves as the Executive Vice President of Drug Discovery and Preclinical Development at Rectify Pharma since March 2022, and holds the position of Entrepreneur In Residence at Atlas Venture. Previously, Robert was Vice President and Head of Molecular Discovery at Disarm Therapeutics from May 2017 to December 2021. Robert’s extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry includes roles at Boehringer Ingelheim as Senior Associate Director, Senior Research Fellow, and Senior Principal Scientist, as well as senior positions at Pfizer, where responsibilities included Senior Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist. Robert earned a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Scripps Research and holds a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Arizona.
