Derek Horner has extensive experience in audience development and content management, currently serving as Manager of Audience Development at Outdoor Life for Recurrent Ventures since May 2022. In this role, Derek oversees social media strategies and manages email campaigns for both Outdoor Life and Field & Stream. Prior to this, Derek held various positions at ANGLR, including Content Manager and Marketing Coordinator, and gained valuable experience as a Student Intern and Special Education Paraprofessional with the State College Area School District. Early career roles included Manager and Professional Detailer at Redline Speedshine and multiple positions at Texas Roadhouse, where Derek advanced to Trainer shortly after starting. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services from Penn State University in 2018 and holds a high school diploma from State College Area High School.
