Alan Bilsland

Alan Bilsland, FHEA, MIET, is a drug discovery data scientist and honorary lecturer at the University of Glasgow. With a focus on creating improved critical paths in translational oncology, Alan has developed expertise through various roles, including Senior Scientific Officer at Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute and Senior Research Associate within the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centres Network. Alan's academic qualifications include a PhD in Cancer Gene Therapy and a BEng (Hons) in Engineering from The Open University. Currently, Alan serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Recursion while also lecturing at the University of Glasgow.
