Brandon Probst is an accomplished Vice President of Biology at Recursion, leading initiatives in fibrosis and cardiovascular/metabolic diseases since March 2018. Probst has extensive experience in drug discovery, employing AI and machine learning to develop novel therapeutics for rare diseases. Prior to Recursion, Probst held various scientific roles at Reata Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included designing experiments for clinical applications in conditions such as Alport Syndrome and Friedreich's Ataxia. Probst also contributed to projects at UTSouthwestern Medical Center and Joyant Pharmaceuticals, focusing on high-throughput screening and biomarker identification. Probst earned a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from UT Southwestern Medical Center after completing a B.S. in Microbiology at Brigham Young University.
