Chris Kitson

Chris Kitson is an accomplished leader in the field of drug discovery and biology, currently serving as the Director of Biology at Recursion Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. With extensive experience in various roles at prestigious companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Scientific Director in Discovery Biology and Hoffmann-La Roche Inc as a Research Leader in Target Identification and Validation for Inflammation, Chris has demonstrated expertise in managing teams, designing laboratories, and driving novel target identification for diseases. Previously, significant contributions were made at GlaxoSmithKline in various capacities, enhancing methodologies in siRNA screening and epigenetic target identification, alongside foundational research in gene therapy during studies at Imperial College London. Chris holds a PhD in gene therapy from Imperial College London and a first-class honors degree in Applied Biology from the University of Hertfordshire.
