Chris Sowley

Chris Sowley currently serves as the Cybersecurity Engineering Lead at Recursion, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Chris was with OpenText from March 2018 to August 2021, where roles included Manager of Cloud Security, Lead Security Engineer, and Senior Security Engineer. Chris also worked at BOMBARDIER as an Information Security Advisor between June 2017 and March 2018, focusing on enhancing information security services and managing security tools. Earlier experience includes a tenure at the University of Guelph from August 2012 to June 2017, where Chris served as a Cyber Forensics Analyst and IT Security Analyst, contributing to the enhancement of the institution's cybersecurity solutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Computing from Oxford Brookes University, and additional studies at the University of Guelph.
