Dan Woodward

Dan Woodward is a Senior Cheminformatics Research Scientist at Recursion, where they accelerate the drug discovery process by developing cheminformatics algorithms and software. Previously, Dan worked as a Cheminformatics Research Scientist at Exscientia, creating automated drug design pipelines and utilizing active learning frameworks. They also gained experience as an Industrial Placement Student at Merck Group, researching liquid crystalline materials, and held a DPhil candidate position at the University of Oxford focused on nanomaterials. Dan earned a First Class Honours MSci degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Bristol.
